Thank you all for helping me with my 14 year old son, Daniel. Your responses and concerns are overwhelming! We went to the neuro (3rd time) and he is absolutely NO HELP! In fact, I think he is a jerk!! sorry for that! but i cant help it!!! Dont think we will go back to him! My questions are these: 1) how many a day can you have and 2) how many months in a row can they continue. I ask all of you this because the doctors cant and who better to ask than those who suffer!!! Daniel has begun to open up to us and explain how they feel, his examples are: having his fingers closed in a van door (which happened recently), knives, and nails in his right temple. Can any of you relate. Is he or am I going crazy and how long are they going to last until he has relief??? We live in Virginia and I am looking for a doctor who will believe him and his pain! thank you for understanding us!!! jacque
