i started verapamil 80 mg three times a day a week ago.
I also had an occit-something nerve block in my brain done.
that shot thing wore off and now all i have left is Verapamil
and Maxalt. I did okay on maxalt... had one attack a night... took
my pill...suffered horribly for 1/2 hour then lived for 24 hours till
it repeated. that has been my last week... UNTIL LAST NIGHT...

so my question is this.... is the verapamil NOT working yet? I am now
up to my three maxalt's a day.... living on oxygen and seem to NEVER get out
of a 3 kip..... if i am not having a 10. So... i called my neuro's office and
he's not back till TUESDAY. I'm just wondering... i've been on the verapamil one week...
maybe it's too soon? maybe it's not working? Not looking forward to a sleepless long
weekend.
education please on when the verapamil will work..... sonya
