Hi there. I haven't been to the site since last July as I've been in remission and didn't want to tempt fate.
I am starting to get that sensation which heralds a bout so I thought I'd pay a return visit to find out if any new treatments or theories had emerged.
I currently use amitriptyline though have used verapimil as a preventer and take midrid at the onset of an attack. All work to varying degrees depending on timing.
I have never used Oxygen and am curious as to what is required and how you go about obtaining it in the UK.
At the time of the last bout I was in contact with the Institiute of Neurology in London who informed me about tests they were undertaking with sumatriptan. Has anyone out there used this and does it work?
In the mean time all the best to all out there and keep fighting.
