what i call a wife knows that when she see's the beast in my eye to walk out of the room. i need to be alone to concentrate on the pain, its the only sane way for me to get through it. any distractions will cause me to freak out and start yelling (if im not already from the pain)and its always directed at her. if i cant see her im not distracted and i cant direct the anger towards her.
this may sound nasty, but when you deal with this level of pain you are not yourself.
