I have contributed to O.U.C.H. for its website and it's request for information. IE: Refered Doctors. I thought the doctor referral was a valuable contribution to this site. It offers contact people for many sufferers out there looking for help. I looked at the Doctors referral page today and there are only a handful of entries.
I will not join another organization. My reasons relate to other experiences that have nothing to do with O.U.C.H. That does not mean I do not support organizations.
I support O.U.C.H. without "member status" As far as I am concerned ... the website, along with the latest print-offs / hand-outs - information is the best place to start.
If O.U.C.H. has a specific request. Email me. I am a come and go visitor at ch.com. Some have voiced their opinion that come and go visiting here is equivilant to taking and not giving back. I disagree, each time I return I see new beacons of light and hope along with a core of talented people who have made this site their own mission field. I think that many of the people that come and go to and from this site "give and take."
Whats my point. Wether or not you want to become a member of O.U.C.H. it is an organization that deserves our support and attention. After all, not all work and contribution to the MS Foundation came from within it's membership. So get to the Doctor referal page and or consider donating to the cause .... regardless of your status as member or non-member.
