I am relieved to find out that their is a name for these headaches that I get. Actually they started about 5 years ago, and at first I contributed my headaches to pure sinus congestion, but I was wrong.
At that time they came around 5:30 in the evening, everyday, like clockwork. Fortunately they only lasted 45 minutes or so, and only for 2 weeks. 5 years went by and I just had another attack starting last Thursday evening, this one lasted about 2 hours. Sunday again in the afternoon, lasting 3 hours. Once again yesterday in the morning (45 min) and around 3:00 oclock in the afternoon for about 1 hour. This morning also, but hopefully this doesn't follow yesterday's schedule, returning in the afternoon. My symptoms start with a piercing pain running from my right jaw, through my teeth, moving through and around my right eye, then finally settling above my eye. A pounding sensation that comes and goes settles above my eye, and I become heavily congested on that side of my nose. The pain becomes increasing worse and closer together, then like magic, the first symptom of sharp pain reappears and I'm free of the headache. My question is, "Has anyone heard of chiropractory helping this condition?", as I am a firm believer in alternative medicine and natural healing.
Thanks for listening,
Jeff
