Please could you describe the effect of the mushrooms, how strongly the effect was felt, how quickly the effect came on. What happened to any background headache or shadows at that time?
I have found that even ingesting too small a quantity to break the cycle, will help me stay pain free for the rest of the day.
Did the shrooms feel like they were couteracting against the headache? Could you still feel the cluster sitting in the background.
Another thing I have recently found out, is that if I can still feel the cluster underneath, then my dose has been insufficient to terminate it.
However, from previous experience, if it just blows it away completely, then my cycle is instantly aborted.
I am episodic, and have only used the shrooms, either prior to my cycle starting (success), or near the start of the cycle, when they reach about Kip 6/7 for the first time (also success). Up until now, I have never let a cycle reach it's peak before attempting to abort it.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the cycle is harder to terminate at it's peak. I imagine that iot would require a relatively high dose.
I believe that I have established a dose of 15-18 liberty cap will abort the cycle near it's inception. At least in my case.
I realise you are long term chronic, and we have less data for that. Satvi was aborted easily, but she hadn't been chronic very long. For Q it was a little harder, likewise Graham. In both those cases it took around 48 hours for the relief to being.
Fingers crossed that you also find relief within that timeframe.
