Have had Chronic CH for 31 years. Was checking out the UKCH site and Simon had written up piece about working with a CH sufferer. I thought it was good so I printed out a few copies for my co-workers, one man and one woman.
I thought it was a good explanation for people who don't have CH. It mentioned about the comparison of CH and labor pains. I could never say anything about this being a man. From previous posts and now being able to "talk" to
women Clusterheads, I got the feeling that CH pain was worse than childbirth.
My CH are becoming active again and since this is a fairly new job, I thought this article by Simon would be a good thing to give to my co-workers just in case I had a visit from the demon while working. It didn't work out that
way! When I got to work this morning, she said she had read the article. She didn't believe that CH can be compared to giving bith. Her exact words were "Must have been written by a man"! I said yes but, I have seen women suffers
say the same thing. She kinda smiled and went back to work. I not saying that childbirth is easy, just that CH causes INTENSE PAIN. I get so frustrated and angry when people don't seem to believe what I tell them about CH.
I understand that this usually happens with non-sufferers but there must be a better way.
What I would like, if you would be so kind, is to have the Mothers out there who are clusterheads, post on the board or E-mail me and tell me what they think about CH compared to giving birth. I will print it out and give it to
my lady co-worker on Mon. Maybe then she will start to understand what I'm trying to say.
Thanks ever so much for your help and I wish everyone PFD@N!
