The Doc just said that almost all CH sufferers smoke....and therefore there was a correlation. Don't all Doctors tell their patients to quit smoking?...regardless?...

He did say that if Taco would stop smoking in the middle of the cycle, that the change might send him into a huge attack.

As for making him feel guilty...not quite in my nature...and not something he'd be particularly succeptible to either. I smoked for 15 years myself...Gave it up April 1, 1996 when I found out that I was pregnant with our 3 year old. I LOVE cigarettes. I love the smell, I love the taste, and I love the way they ground you when you take a drag. Yummm.

They're kinda hard on the old lungs though...so if he can give it up, I think it'd be great. He's been talking about quitting for 2 years now. It would be outrageous if he could quit smoking and never suffer another CH as long as he lives. I don't mean to be negative....but I don't think that's the magic bullet.

We'll just have to see.

Thanks for your insight on this subject...I was wondering if anyone had quit smoking and what the results had been.

Andrea
