For me, crying makes it worse -- I feel those effects for the whole next day.
Try walking FAST, or up hill, or going for a ride in the car at about 60 mph with your head out the window (of course get someone else to drive.)
As a person with no medical insurance, I have found those 2 cures to work the best, with a little 800 mg Ibuprofen to take the edge off.
