I am posting here because your long post with shroom history got buried under a landslide of danger warnings.
You say "chronics" are out of whack because of their long history of attacks. You also say there is no scientific basis for this view.
But there IS a scientific basis. There is recent reseach ,that you can unearth if you realy want to, and it says, basically, that individual brain cells can "learn". If a certain neural path is taken often, it becomes just like a path across a lawn.
This would fit. Chronic pain beats it's own paths.
Sorry about not remembering the source; it was a US specialist on memory.
