Histamine??

I just got back from taking my husband to the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago. The doctors and nurses there were so helpful and so full of information - I learned more in 10 minutes from a nurse than I've learned in 6 years from a list of neurologists!

They are stating the clusters are caused by the body's inability to handle histamine. Histamine being the body's natural response to allergies - histamine causing watering eyes, running nose, etc. This is why the majority of CH suffers cycles are triggered during the spring and fall.

Why haven't I heard of this before? Anyone else know about this concept?
