Exactly like you I get very itchy, espec. on my head before attacks, also often "tiny cuts" in the skin - those are actually FUNGUS of the skin, related to YEAST and CANDIDA problem. There are chances that you are allergic to YEAST and MOLD (same thing really) , the mold brought it out working in your garden. Try a yeastfree diet, stay away from molds or watch it, observe yourself. See an environmental doctor if you can, make tests. Anti-histamines dont really work either, our brain is so oversensitive to various chemicals, it's not that easy to reestablish balance. The diet might help you much more than you can imagine.
