I had never heard of cluster headaches until about 2 weeks ago and then I met a young man in his 30's who suffers from them. In the past 3 to 4 weeks that I have worked with him he has missed 4 days of work because of these headaches. I can tell by talking to him that he dreads to sleep knowing what will happen now that the headaches have started. I have researched some and find it interesting that the lack of daylight hours seems to have an effect. We work the evening shift and so of course are up late into the night and sleep during the early hours of the day. Is there anything that we his coworkers can do for him or at least to express the severity of this condition to our boss who like us does not know of clusterheadaches. Thanks
