I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunately, they probably will come back again after they go away. It is not easy to function on a daily basis. I work for the State of Nebraska for a small college. I think this has been a major trigger for my CH's this time. We are facing alot of stress right now as the legislature decides if we are "necessary" to our community. (they may close us...) I dont need this stress!!! Hence, the headaches began again........I have been on several drugs in the past to prevent and relieve the pain. Currrently I am taking a strong dose of Hydrocodone. (tylenol w/narcotics) It seems to work rather quickly.....takes hold in about 10 minutes and you feel the full effects within an hour. But it's hard to work (let alone drive) while the drug is in full force. When the pain gets to be more than I can handle, my hubby takes me to the ER for some demerol. Sometimes, when I know Im going to have a heavy workload, I will take a half dose of Hydrocodone before the onset of the CH.......in efforts to keep functioning......I hope this helped and I didn't ramble too much....LOL. Good luck!!
