VERAPAMIL- new script not working

I have been taking Verapamil for about a year and a half with great success. I take the 190 mg SR (slow release), once daily with food. I recently ran out and had a new order filled by a mail order company that I usually buy from. The new scrip arrived and immediately my CH's returned . Has anyone else had this experience and was it due to bad or dated medicine or just a coincidence.
