It's 2:15 in the morning and I'm up rocking with tears streaming down my face. I run down the stairs to the ice box to retrieve my ice pack and up the stairs I go, retrieving a wet washcloth along the way. I put the fan on my face the wet washcloth over my eyes and forehead and place the ice pack over the washcloth. I'v also placed a heating pad on the soles of my feet. This should draw the blood away from my head to run to the sole of my feet. This is my morning wake up
call since November of last year. I have been reading and doing research on the cause and effects of my body, taking notes and changing my way of life as I see what works and what does not work for me. Each of us has had something happen to our inner body and a chemical change to cause this to happen to us. I have found for me I have to watch my body heat. I have learned that my body heats up even if I'm in an air condition room. I drink ice water at least 4 16oz glasses at work before 2:30 pm and drink another 3 16 oz glasses of water at home after work. I believe because of my body heat my body is using up all my electrolytes, So along with drinking only ice water I take 500mg of Magnesium, 500mg of Calcium, and 100mg of Potassium in the morning and again I repeat this at night before going to bed. My pain has been reduced from levels 7-9 to levels 2-5. I still have 6-8 attacks a day, but my pain levels have been greatly
reduced. I'm still reading and doing research on myself to fine my answer to complete homeostasis. I hope this will help someone. I would also recommend two books to read if anyone is interested:
