I keep asking this question myself! I do suffer from migraines that have a hormonal trigger. I am 51 and not in menopause as yet. Over the last couple of years I have noticed the migraines get more frequent and more intense right around my period. I am currently on BC pills and the migraines continue but usually not as bad (+ I am now using Imitrex). Now as for my clusters, I have never seen any correlation between my episodic clusters and hormones although I too was led to believe that they disappeared when you got older! Now, I seemed to have missed my annual appointment with the beast this past November, about 6 months after starting the BC pills. I am also taking a drug to help prevent the migraines, can't remember which one offhand, and perhaps that is influencing my CH cycle?
I hope other women post on this subject. Maybe there is hope for us after all.
