I related so strongly to your posting it felt like a punch in my heart. I am 31. For the past 3 months I have been experiencing numbness mostly in my left hand. I didn't do anything about it at first because it always occured in the mornings when I awoke so I thought I had slept funny on that side or something--but when it started occuring EVERY monring I began to get worried. It is mostly in my left arm, concentrating in my left hand and especially in my thumb, index, and middle fingers of my left hand. But one mornings I have had it all the way down my left side--however, that went away after I got out of bed and moving. But I have also awoke perhaps 3 times and had the numbness in both arms and hands. It usually gets some better as the day progresses--however, now it is staying with me all day at least in the left hand (and especially those fingers). I have scheduled an appointment with a neurologist on July 18--but the wait is killing me. I am terrified of MS. I don't have any other symptoms--but I am scared. Do these symptoms sound familar to anyone?
