I have to get over MYself too!! I mean I don't help people to get thanks or gratitude. I do it coz I WANT to!
So I'm afraid you're going to be putting up with my "Sentiment of the Day" for a long time to come, my friend. Hey maybe I'll make it a daily ritual! A daily sentiment of the day! Maybe you'll be my first one!!! LOL
I have also made a pact with myself to leave helping Carl to those who know him best.
I can learn from someone who e-mailed me, about turning the other cheek. About being here to help and that's all. It really made me think. (Idon't do that very often, so make the most of it)! I'm going to try and do that more. I'm making headway, some of the flames I've had I would've bit back at before. Now, I try hard to be reasonable and just keep putting the point I was trying to make across. It's not easy, but I'm getting there....like British Rail really!
As to not complaining, I know what you mean. I've ALWAYS been brought up with the attitude of "what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger". Sickness is inherent in my family so I've always been taught to cope and work through whatever it is, as much as you can.
Anyway, whatever. I'm here if you need me. You DON'T need to apologise. Let's just say we agree to beg to differ. That way we're friends again and no one has to say sorry.
