Ken, I agree with Linda. Confront your dr. Some drs. have a "god complex", but believe me they are human. I've been to enough of them with my CH. If confronting him doesn't change his opinion of himself, FIND ANOTHER DR. I went through about 15 neuros before I found one I could work with. My GP is wonderful - and I have his home number at his request. If I can't get hold of the neuro when I need him HE CAN! But my GP was NOT afraid to tell me he didn't know what to do, but he'd get me help. Anytime I've called him with a request, he's been right there to help me.
I wish you the same. The right dr. can make a BIG difference in how you deal with these monsters. Good luck Barbara D.
