The doctor may be right on the mark. A cluster
typically lasts for 45 minutes or so. Sometimes
it can go on for even 3 hours. But I think it would be
very unusual for it to last for 3 days. But...
I'm no authority. Maybe others on this board have
experienced that. Have you had a CAT scan or MRI?
It's probably a good idea, to rule out anything
organic (unlikely).
Verapamil is a great preventive drug. If you
experience any headaches "breaking through,"
use oxygen (7-10 liters through a face mask) or
Imitrex.
