Okay - at the suggestion of others on this board and even though I don't suffer from clusters, I've decided to ask if there's anyone out there who has been diagnosed with ice pick headaches. Mine were "finally" diagnosed 3 yrs. ago and I'm presently taking a combination of Neurontin and Indomethacin. I have alot of questions for anyone out there who can relate to these. I know that alot of people who have true cluster headaches comment that they occasionally get ice picks too - do you suppose these could be a form of what I'm having? Additional comments have been that maybe what I have are Chronic Paroxysmal Hemocrania (CPH) - but from what I've read - these last from anywhere from 5 min. - 45 min. and the stabs I get only last a second or two...This is so confusing! Regardless though, Indomethacin is the prescribed drug for both the ice picks and CPH - Anyone out there who can relate to what I'm having - would love to hear from you!! Good luck to you all and thanks for letting me be a part of the CH board and chats - it helps more than I can tell you!
