At the risk of sounding like a broken record - FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER NEURO. Apparently that guy doesn't deal with HA. Keep looking until you find a doc who WILL talk to you and work with you. That is VERY important. I'm old enough that I have been known to back them in a corner and point my finger in their faces and say, "Talk to me NOW!" It certainly gets their attention!
You NEED to get a diagnosis from someone who has KNOWLEDGE of HA. Get on the phone and CALL every neuro in your area until you find one who DEALS with HA and keeps up on the latest stuff on them.
Most of us went through several neuros before we found ONE. Don't give up-there is one out there for you. Hugs to you BD
