Hi Annemarie-
For starters, I'd try clearing your cache and history files. If you use Internet Explorer, these are in Tools/Options. Netscape is similar. If you're on a Mac, sorry, one of the Macites will have to help out.
What type of puter do you use? What browser and which version? As I recall, the chat room uses java scripts, which old versions of IE and Netscape can't handle at all and newer, but not newest, versions have some problems with.
Also try this...when the board is a jigsaw, hold down the shift key while you click 'refresh' or 'reload'. Keep the key down until the reload is well under way. This will bypass your cache and make sure you d/l directly from the site.
Finally, are you having any problems with other programs or general puter problems? For example, do you get any funny 'file can't be found' messages during boot up? If a dll or vsd or other driver file got corrupted, the problem might be in your video drivers.
