I would welcome anything that helps, but... During bad attacks I can't have anything even touching my nose on the inside. Reason is I have very thin, atrophied mucus membranes. This is not uncommon for postmenopausal females (hey, where are the post menopausal males, now I think about it)((Sorry, I digress)) or women after hysterectomy. The whole mucus layer in the body may deteriorate, and there may be less tear fluid.
Ok, with these very thin membranes it is like razor blades shoved up my nose during an attack, and even touching my nostril during a kip 10 may make me hit the ceiling.
Maybe Elaine is right, it hurts so much it detracts.
