OK, I'm in the middle of a headache, so this is going to be quick.
I suspect I've been having CH for 2 or 3 years now. I've had Miagrains
8 or 9 years, but these are different. I just got a CH
diagnosis from the doc - great, at least I know what it is now.
My questions are:
Do women tend to have less intense CH than men?
Does CH tend to get worse over time, or does it start out as
bad as it's going to get?
Are women more prone to CH if their dad's had CH or maigraine?
Mine aren't that bad now, They only come twice a year or so,
but they last 2,3 weeks or so, on and off every day for several
hours at a stretch, always starting at 8:00am or 3:30pm.
The pain is never worse than a maigrain, but it gets up there
with amazing frequency and rapidity. It's like a mini-maigrain
everyday.
The doc's got me on preventative and abortive drugs, but they
aren't working very well.
Any words from the wise, or just plain experienced, would
be greatly appreciated if not down right comforting.
thanks,
k
