I read this once:
"God helps those who help themselves". I never really liked that phrase too much. It always sounded a bit selfish and rude, to me. I like this phrase better:
"God helps those who help others".
I'm going to try and help you. I'm going to try and do it without God's help. I need to know something, though.
Are you willing to help yourself and are you willing to help others?
I was thinking that maybe instead of posting your troubles and woes to CH.com every day, that perhaps you could respond to other people's posts instead. Maybe, help them with their troubles and woes from your experiences?
I was thinking that maybe you could go to the 'OUCH web-site' and print the OUCH Brochure and walk around your neighborhood and give it to people. That would be helpful, too.
I, myself, have had chronic cluster headaches for 16 years. They suck. I know how you feel. Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought about putting a gun in my mouth and pulling the trigger. My wife won't let me buy a gun, though. She doesn't believe in free will as much as I do.
Uh-oh, I haven't used the 'S' word yet. Oh well, fuck it.
