no mystery here - probably VERY common if we keep an eye on our pets

my dog (with us 15 years this winter) goes under kitchen table & lies down as soon as I start getting an attack - even when I'm SURE I'm not showing any symptoms or changed behavior (shows how much we 2 leggeds know, eh ?)otherwise, she's never under there - it's right in the middle of my usual "coping" area, almost as though she's staying "on the job", but keeping clear of me

in recent years there have been several news reports of dogs that sense oncoming epilepsy seizures & alert their human; then the patient can medicate in time to prevent the seizure
