That is a nice tribute to your doc of long ago.
My headaches started in the early 60's, and I
was diagnosed as having "Horton's Cephalgia" or
histamine headaches also. The only med. offered
then was Tylenol with Codien, which didn't help
the cluster headache. The times the headache
brought me to my knees , and ended up in the ER,
the nurses put the oxygen tubes in my nose, and
then waited for the doc. By the time he got there
to order a demerol injection, the headache was
gone. Never associated it with the oxygen, but
come to think of it now, the headache was always
gone by the time the doc got into the room.
