Hi.
I guess I qualify as a cronic cluster headache sufferer. I get upto six headaches a day sometimes
Most are completely incapaciting. I have taken many medications, but none seem to help. It is not fun.
My wife has never had a headache in her life, one headache that she took tylenol for and it went away.
So she has no concept of what I am going through every day, constantly. She used to have sympathy for
me but the headaches are too frequent and she is getting tired of me constantly being grumpy, when I am
in exteme amounts of pain. She does not understand how exausting these headaches are or how debilitation
they are. How suddenly a walk across the living room feels like a hundred mile hike, etc.
I try to function and do everything as if I didn't have the headaches but sometimes it is impossible and she
gets mad because I just want to lay down and she wants me to be doing something productive.
She is not mean, cruel or not understanding. She is very compassionate, she just can not comprehend how bad the
headaches actually are and how much pain I am in.
How do I get her to understand what it feels like? and to not be upset with me because I have a headache. The main
problem is the headaches are so frequent and she is getting tired of it.
What she doesn't understand is how tired I am of the headaches, I have to experience this pain each time.
thanks for listening and allowing me to vent some.
It is nice to know that there is atleast one person in the world that understands what it is like for me.
