the gauge only goes to 5 lpm, but I have the ball pegged, the technician that checks it showed 70% O2 at this setting, they come out every six weeks to test it, I can take very deep breathes, very quickly at this setting, and the concentrator keeps the mask bag full, I have not found this model in the Invocare web page, so I will ask about it the next time the technician shows up, my mask has the two outlet check valves, but I only use one with that rubber disk, so my guess is that I am getting more like 50% O2. I have been on practically every med listed on this site at one time or another, and this is just me, but by getting off all of these meds, I found the O2 to be more effective, had a bad CH last night and kicked it in ten minutes with O2, I feel, in my case that the meds after long term use, over two weeks is what I consider long term have been causing rebounds of one kind or another, I posted a web site somewhere back on rebound studies, and to me, this made perfect sense, I feel and have taken 100% O2 from tanks with a closed mask, that this dose is way too strong, the body still needs some nitrogen to keep your blood from boiling. Last week I have taken exactly three 5 mg of prednisone and one 10 mg pill of amitriptyline, I took the amitriptyline just so I could get one good night's sleep, slept 9 hours straight, but if I take the amitriptyline every day as prescribed, I no longer get sleepy and just pour on the pounds with a super dry mouth and more rebound type headaches, four weeks ago, I was getting 6 CH's per day, that has cut down now to about 1 or 2 a day, with some days CH free, I don't think I would be this fortunate if I was pouring down the drugs, as many as four different types at full prescription levels a day, I posted a 4 day and night constant cluster several weeks ago and was bashed for it, I was not lying, lost 20 pounds and looked like I was over 100 years old, this was over 15 years ago when I was pouring down the pills and not aware of my triggers, I think others on this site are going through the same thing and are experiencing rebound, still no cure for CH, each of us has to learn what works, but many treatments can make them worse.
