I also have gone throught the Dr. routine...last summer
when my cycle kicked in I went to the Er and they refused
to give me a shot of Imitrex...they would only give me
a shot of Demoral...is that a trip...I told them I did not
want a narcotic because I had driven my self...and the
Imitrex does not have any side effect plus it gets
ride of my headached in 5 to 10 min...but noooo they would
not go for it...had to get the shot of demerol and call
a cab to drive me home...it is so frustrating when you
know what works and are not able to get it...as for my neurolgist
he is a trip...but after being with him for a few years
and knowing that Imitrex injections work...plus Elevil
at night to help me sleep I can deal with them better
plus a good prescription card since Imitrex is toooo
expensive...it took many years..I am now 45...to find
something that works...a blessing...I was told I might grow
out of them...but nada so far...wonder what age they are
talking about? So untill the next cycle...ahhh...I just kinda
stock pile Imitrex so I won't be caught without...Kathy
