How long does an episode run before you have to consider that you may be becoming chronic? This episode began end of June. Every time I think it is going away (meaning I get a couple of days pain-free) the next HA hits,, and it almost seems worse than not getting a break. They are becoming very erratic, used to get a HA nearly every day at 2pm, and again at 2am, with shorter, less severe ones in between. Now they seem to start whenever, although not as often. Was about 20-25 a week, then for 2 weeks,until this week only about 6-7 in a week. Now somewhere in between. Have read elsewhere that this erratic period may be a sign that episode is ending? Just don't know anymore, Would appreciate any insights. On a happier note, have not lost any more weight and my appetite has returned, so have managed to stay out of the hospital for over a month, and even gained a couple of pounds.
