Hi - I've had a thought (well, it's one that I've had off and on for a while now), as a CH community member of long standing (20+yrs) with the HA always striking in the right eye, it has occurred to me that surgical removal of the eye might just help! Now that may or may not work since the pain is now believed to originate in the nerves in the brain. Is there anyone out there who could offer a concretish opinion on this as a possible answer??
I know it seems kind of drastic, but if it worked life would be infinitely preferable with only one eye to life with CH as I'm sure you would agree!
To CarlD - hang in there pal! Like many, I've a pretty shrewd idea what you're going through! The docs don't help a lot either - mine seems to be of the opinion that I am suffering more or less regular type HA and that I'm making a bit of a fuss! I just wish he could try a 7 or 8 once and see if he changed his mind!
Anyway, today looks like it's going to be OK - the rest of you keep hanging in there. Regards and best wishes to all
Chris.
