One other trigger for me has been this long term virus

that attacks, the nose, ears, and throat, all my kids got it, kind of a burning raw sensation, the virus isn't really that bad, but lasts six to eight weeks, I have actually been cluster free for the last three years, until I got this virus, and the nasal passages are sorer than heck, so my leaving the area trick does not work as I take the virus with me where any slight incidental type of odor can send me into severe a pain, hate going to the clinic and being told, go home and drink plenty of liquids, no cure for a virus, I also made the mistake of taking prednisone that limits the bodies ability to fight a virus, my son has to take it for his Crohn's and still is fighting this same virus since mid December, glad he doesn't have CH's, that would a little too much for anyone to handle.
