What or whom does my nickname blaspheme? If you don't believe in God then how can anything be blasphemous? It's a Cessna 337. I like the design and all the other nicknames are taken. I even share this one with a few people. If it offends you for some reason, I can change it. Your choice.
Bitter about religion?
You have concluded that I am Christian yet the name 'Christ' appears in none of my posts (except for this one now). I presume that you percieved my posts as a threat and then assumed that they are associated with what threatens you most - Christianity. Your verbage regarding Christianity is hostile in case you haven't noticed. And I didn't even bring up Christianity! That's why I say you are bitter.
There are reasons to believe in a supreme being that you have not considered. Logic, deduction, personal experience, and fear are a few that I have heard.
I'll repeat to you that I am trying to see your perspective. That is why I am asking you to explain. I heed your conviction that NOTHING will alter your opinion (Oh gosh, THERE'S an open mind!). So I'll let you teach the lesson for my benefit. No brownie points for me (I don't believe in that anyway), I just want to understand.
You say you want to help people perhaps as Bell did with the phone (nice shot BTW but I was thinking longer term non-existence like when everything ceases to be). So how do you know you are helping? Do you yourself decide what 'good' is? Do you get a general consensus of what 'good' is? Is there some form of authoratative 'good' from which you draw? How do you know what is 'good' and what is 'bad?'
I'll check back in a couple of days. I'll be thinking about this perspective.
