Bob, I too relate neck injuries and ch. I had a severe neck injury about a year before my first ch cycle began. and for several years after any activity affecting my left shoulder and neck area would set them off. I described this correlation of neck pain and ch to many physicians, tried chiropratic, had an mri [showed some damage in the c-6 area and arthritis in my neck] even used home traction for awhile which seemed to help ch about a year. Thought I was cluster free until this summer when I hurt my neck while on vacation. the ch's returned that evening and have continualy become more frequent and severe needless to say like every thing else the traction no longer seems effective. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't work for others.
