I quit doing acid - I think back in 92 (first trip was in 82). Since then, a friend of mine has tried to get me to trip with him a million times.
I called him last August after hearing of the 'Shroom remedy, and I am desperate enough - I'll consider trying reindeer poop. Anyway, I asked him if he could hook me up with some shrooms and he was like "Dude, come on over - I got you." He was excited. I shoulda known.
I get over there and he had some blotter(Paper) acid sitting on the coffee table (This guy eats acid like M&M's, and is quite a trip when he is straight.) "Yeah dude, it'll be rollin'"
I just looked at him and asked "You got some shrooms?"
"No dude, I got this blotter man, blows shrooms out of the water anyday."
"Dude, I don't want to trip! I want to try an experiment to see if I can break my Cluster cycle."
He didn't get it.
"Yeah but dude, this stuff is pure! No stricht or anything, c'mon dude, lets trip. How long has it been? Plus, you'll be with me man, no bad trips here."
He still didn't get it.
Anyway, he couldn't get any mushrooms, and I told him there was no freakin way I was gonna eat any of that blotter. Can you imagine taking some high grade LSD and having a cluster kick in?
I can see it now.
'A man was found dead today after ingesting LSD and going into what is known as a 'bad trip'. It is said the LSD itself was not what killed him, but the effect it had on his mind. He apparently suffered from a headache condition, and started having an attack during the acid trip. Witnesses say he began to claw at the side of his head screaming "The pressures building! I gotta free the beast! Set the beast free!!!!"
When an ambulance was called, the man was found lying on the floor with his right hand fingers still embedded in the side of his head, that had been savagely ripped of skin down to the skull. His fingers were also worked to the bone of skin. They said he worked feverishly for over an hour - clawing, yelling and spurting forth obscenities. Only one person could tell us what happened. The others in the residence, also under the influence of LSD, had to be rushed to the emergency mental health unit for what is known as a 'Bad Trip".
(Oh wow man I see it too!)
Peace,
