That is the same dose that I was using of the modern recreationals stuff to do exactly the same thing. I switched from that to mushrooms because the chances of going to prison, or failing a drug test at work were much lower with the mushrooms. Both substances metabolise in similar ways. I found them equally effective.
It was recreational use of LSD that first alerted me to it's CH prevention properties. When I first took LSD in 1992, I was scared (like most sufferers) that it would start a cycle. It didn't, and I quite enjoyed the experience (well maube not all of it). I continued using the drug for recreational purposes for 3 years. Doing it around once every 3-6 months. During this time I missed 7 cycles. I though the CH must have stopped of it's own accord... it hadn't of course, it was the LSD, but it took me a further 18 months to make the connection. This was after racking my brain trying to figure out what I had been doing different during the painfree years.
What is interesting is that the LSD and related drugs are at least as effective if taken outwith the acutal cycle.
