Nope, you are far from going mad.
I'd be surprised if anyone here didn't
know exactly how you feel.
Might even call those your shadows.
I get at least a couple of 4's a day now,
and that's a good day. But ALL the time I'm
not under attack I feel those same symptoms.
Starting to learn how to at least get some
type of sleep.
Course I'm very fortunate to be in this position.
Since I have to sleep sitting up, and since sleep
will usually bring on a severe attack. I don't
want to sleep.
Now, I go sit in bed with Annette until she falls
asleep. The next morning, I'll sit in the recliner
and she watches me. If I move my head out of the
right position, or start REM, she gently wakes or
repositions me, and that helps a great deal.
Don't seem to wake with more than a 4 or 5, and
that's a big difference : )
Yep! I'm being spoiled rotten, but hey....
There's always some good somewhere : )
You're okay Debby,
Everything you said is completely understandable.
Hope you feel better soon,
Dave
