I just had to drop a line here and let everyone know just
how glad I am that I have found this site! I am a 28 year
old male, been suffering from these attacks for two years
now. Officially diagnosed with Cluster Headaches about a
year ago. There is no way to describe the pain and the torture
that I am going through, as you all well know. The best thing
for me so far, is going into the bathroom or dark closet,
putting towels under the door to block all the light possible,
and suffering it out. Guess I need to go back to the doctor, as
it seems from reading everyone else's posts, that there might be
more out there for me. The doctor put me on Sansert, which does
not get rid of the pain, but only breaks the cycle. The problem
that I have with Sansert is that it is a steroid, and does pose
some 'impudency' problems and the wife and I are currently trying
to start a family. I am currently at five attacks per day, starting
at four in the morning. Luckily, I am at this time, able to get a good
nights sleep until 4:00 am! Being semi-new to all this, but looking
for any help possible, please let me know anything that you can on
this excrutiating pain, what, if anything, can I do?
