Matt, after thirty years I've developed a knack... sure I visit hell during an attack, but I've learned to place more emphasis on the peace of mind after an attack as well as during stages of remission--even the one's that only last for a couple of days. These may sound like only words but my attacks are as vicious as anyone on this board (see Dave's description (: ) and I have managed to live a full and rewarding life and even built some charachter in the process. I spend 15 to 90 minutes, a babbling, infantile idiot, but I make sure I surface strong. You'll see; you never get used to a specific attack but you can get used to the big picture.
