Need some advice on oygen

Just had O2 delivered yesterday. I am on prednisone, 20mg/day. Been great until I felt one come on this a.m. and decided to try the O2. Used 8 liter level through nose cannula. Seems to have worked.

Questions:

Is the mask better? They didn't give me one.

How long should I breathe this stuff? Until the pain stops?

Is 8 liters right? My doc doesn't seem to be up to speed on O2.

Please let me have your thoughts.
