1 year ago while lifting weights at school. my 14 year old son developed a severe headache. this headache lasted two weeks and during this time he developed severe hypertension. after cat scans and tests confirmed that there were no underlying problems. they then diagnosed him with severe migraine. he responded to none of the treatments oral or by iv. after this was unsuccessful the neurologist prescribed indomethacin for him. after 4 days the headaches subsided. later we found that he had suffered from a severe food reaction to peanut butter and has remained headache free since he no longer eats peanut butter..
