I am 36 years old and I going through perimenopause. I had a baby 13 months ago, and my hormones never went back to the way they were prior to pregnancy.
My doctor (who is great and totally undertands and believes women go through this) put me on Bellergal-S. I would sweat all night long, hot flashes, the emotional ups and downs. He has put me depo-provera shots to get me balanced (he is trying this), along with xanax for anxiety. I am starting to feel better, so something is working. I have to at least try these things, other wise, thats why women were committed in the 1800's. There was no solution.
