Tonya,
From 9/27-11/19 this year, I had CH attacks virtually every night. I dreaded bedtime because, like a kid fearing the monsters coming out of the closet or from under the bed to get me, I knew the CH Demon was just waiting to nail me again. My heart goes out to you and all the rest of our friends who are plagued with this awful malady. Dr. Robert Ford of the Ford Headache Clinic in Birmingham, AL, is my CH neurologist. He is absolutely great. He treats my CH's with prednisone and verapamil with O2 to help relieve the attacks. This treatment works for me. We tried imitrex but I became allergic. Dr. Ford has a web-site: www.fordheadacheclinic.com. Take a look at it sometime when you are up wrestling with the demon. If your doc doesn't have enough sympathy to try other meds, find one who is compassionate and will do whatever it takes to get you some relief. I am very sorry that you are having such an ordeal. Best wishes for PFD's and especially PFN's. God bless you!
