Hold on to that thought because when the cure does come, you don't want to miss out on having your biggest problem in life being that your albums haven't gone platinum since your first one. However, the main reason of this post is to ask you a question. Have you put any of your creative energy into figuring a new way to get your music out there where you don't have to worry about what time your next HA will come? I've only had 1 more hour sleep than you last night so this isn't the best idea, just an example, but something like a website where people can listen to you (solo or with a band) give a concert and order tapes or CDs, eventually, after having a certain number of hits to the site, getting targeted companies buy ads on the site? Something like that could let you do what you love and possibly be your only-source-needed of cash. Or shit, man. You can even go the K-Tel route and sell tapes and CDs on late night TV and spin yourself as the man who is so talented, he turned down touring and joining Anthrax. :-) But seriously, maybe you can come up with a non-traditional way to make it in music.
