I hate to be disagreeable but I definately have CHs. I was diagnosed with by two docs, one who is a neurologist. I usually lay my head down on a cool sink and try to displace the pain. Everyone does not bang their heads, nor pace with cluster headaches, even if it is the norm with most. We all have different methods of dealing with the beast.
On many occasion I have been out while the CHs hit, and I can't wait to go into my *safe* room to be alone with my misery..different strokes~different folks.
BRANDON, the Imitrex didn't work for me either. This time around my new neuro put me on Amerge, as a preventative, and it's really helping me, with a few tolerable breakthroughs close to my next dose.
