and yes, it has been around for a while - in fact, in a way it is the grandfather of modern vaccine and antivenom type therapies
BTW:
the "holistic" health approach is not IMPLICIT in homeopathy - but many homeopaths do spread out into general health areas, good for them
MARGI & I have a SPECIFIC question though, and I believe we are both more curious than challenging:
In the case of Cluster Headache specifcally, how would there be a homeopathic remedy ?
The syndrome cannot be precipitated in people who do not have the disease/abnormality, it can't even be triggered in people who DO have CH, if they are not in a cluster - - and the whole "allergy" approach has been LONG since ruled out, at least as far as any substance goes.
Any treatment which has proved helpful is clearly working by suppressing the symptoms - nobody yet seems to have come up with a way to even nearly reliably throw the "off" switch on a cluster cycle, much less actually "cure" the syndrome
Why we are interested:
if some homeopath has reasonable suggestions of what they would try - BASED ON REPLICABLE SUCCESS IN TREATING CH - or even a rational up-to-date theory , it might be a good place to start backtracking to a clearer view of the cause
